🐟 Walteri Peacock Cichlid – (Aulonocara sp.) – Stunning Lake Malawi Peacock

The Walteri Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara sp.) is a brilliantly colored African cichlid from Lake Malawi, admired for its intense blue body contrasted with bright yellow fins and highlights. Males develop especially vivid coloration as they mature, making them a striking centerpiece in a Malawi cichlid display tank. Females are more subdued in color, providing balance in a breeding group.

Like other Aulonocara species, the Walteri Peacock is relatively peaceful compared to many African cichlids, making it suitable for community setups with other Malawi Peacocks and Haps of similar temperament. Their active swimming and bright colors bring life and vibrancy to any aquarium.
