The Pygmy Leopard Catfish (Synodontis petricola) is a small, attractive species of upside-down catfish native to Lake Tanganyika, Africa. Known for its peaceful nature, striking leopard-like spots, and habit of swimming upside-down, this catfish is a favorite among African cichlid keepers.

Despite its small size, the Pygmy Leopard Catfish is active, social, and thrives in groups. It is especially popular because it can coexist peacefully with most cichlids while adding movement and personality to the aquarium.
