🐟 Snow King Pleco – (Pterygoplichthys ambrosettii) – Large South American Pleco

The Snow King Pleco (Pterygoplichthys ambrosettii) is a large, striking Loricariid catfish native to the Paraná River Basin in South America. It is known for its light base coloration covered in intricate, dark, maze-like patterns, giving it a regal, snow-dusted appearance. Like other members of the Pterygoplichthys genus, it can grow very large and requires a spacious aquarium with strong filtration.

This species is hardy and adaptable but best suited for experienced keepers who can provide the large tank size and robust setup it requires.
