Fish Details, Description and Information Below:

🐟 Retroculus lapidifer – Rare South American Geophagine Cichlid for Sale

The Retroculus lapidifer is a unique and rarely seen South American cichlid found in clear, fast-flowing rivers of Brazil. Known for its sleek, silver-bronze body, iridescent highlights, and distinctive black spots along the flanks, this species is highly specialized for life in strong currents. It belongs to a primitive group of cichlids often referred to as “earth-eaters,” though it spends much of its time near rocky substrates rather than sifting sand like typical Geophagus.

This species is highly prized by advanced aquarists for its rarity, natural beauty, and specialized care requirements.
