🐟 Red Fin Compressiceps – (Altolamprologus compressiceps) – Predatory Tanganyikan Cichlid for Sale

The Red Fin Compressiceps (Altolamprologus compressiceps) is a striking predator cichlid from Lake Tanganyika in East Africa, recognized for its compressed, deep body shape, large jaws, and the red edging on its dorsal and caudal fins. These unique physical traits allow it to ambush prey between rocks and crevices in its native rocky shoreline habitat.

While not overly active, this species is a methodical and calculated hunter that does best in rocky aquascapes with plenty of hiding spots. It is compatible with other medium to large Tanganyikan cichlids, provided there is adequate space and territories.
