Panaque’s frequently lose their odontodes. When imported they may or may not have any. Some photos we take may or may not show them but when they do have them, depending on how long we have them in stock, they may drop off at any time. The photos with odontodes at the time of import, may not have them when you receive them. They can grow back and or they not grow back. We can't guarantee your pleco will have it's odontodes upon selling. If you want a photo before purchasing pleco let us know.

Some fish require the use of a special shipping bag. This price is automatically added to the total of the fish, which is an extra $15 per bag. These bags ensure the fish can’t bust through them. The typical plastic 2 - 4 MM bags can’t handle most large plecos, catfish, etc. This option can’t be removed. The bags are reusable as long as you do not damage them while opening. Small plecos under 8” (unless otherwise noted) will not have this special shipping bag applied.
