Lungfish

Lungfish, which are part of the Dipnoi class, are freshwater vertebrates. They are renowned for their ability to retain ancestral traits found in Osteichthyes, such as the capacity to breathe air, as well as possessing ancestral structures within Sarcopterygii, like lobed fins with a well-developed internal skeleton.
